behind the scenes: how it all began

PREFACE:

this blog is not for the faint of heart.

if you're one of those "i can't finish this side of fries" or "i don't like anything green" or "i don't like cheese",

GET OFF MY BLOG.

this blog is dedicated to the warriors of the food world. those with a heart of gold and a stomach of steel.

so now that we've gotten that out of the way... you're probably thinking to yourself "what does this person know about food? what makes them think they can start a blog about food and then think i care enough to read it?"

i was born in passaic county, but the majority of my life has taken place in bergen county.

and i love food.

who doesn't? (if you said "not me", then you can't sit with us. #bye)

these days, i work in ridgewood, therefore i spend 80% of my waking hours in ridgewood.

so over the past year, i've eaten a lot of food. for awhile, i was going to the same restaurants over and over because i'm one of those people that finds something delicious and then orders it until i eventually start to resemble it. just kidding. but you know what i mean.

i have this goal to become the food critic in ratatouille... but secretly. i'm a secret shopper of foods.

i don't have any type of certification or license that says my opinion matters more than anyone else's.

but i'm a human. and i have taste buds. and i like food.

please note: i do not like bananas or mushrooms. if those are important to you, i'm sorry.

also, i'm not a fan of how overly expensive starbucks is, but sometimes you're in a rush. or the drinks are pretty. #YOLO
